GOOOOOD MORNING FAM! Once more the good Lord has blessed us with the GREATEST DAY OF THE YEAR! It’s time to see who’s been in the gym all year grinding to get better and making Kobe proud and who’s been lounging around being lazy and getting SOFT!
This is year 17! And once again is setup to be a blockbuster year! We have back to back champ Joel “The Big Condition “ Roinas back and attempting to do what has NEVER been done before. Win. 3-Peat championship! Can he put himself on the upper echelon Mount Rushmore of fantasy ?! Brady,Manning,Mahomes……..ROINAS!
We have new competitors and old! Mariana and Chris it’s time to show the world what you’re made of! I can promise you this you better come out swinging cause there will be NO MERCY from anyone in this league! Just ask Rick about the warm welcome he got two years ago after drafting Aaron Rodgers in the first round!
Sarah and Grant have made a couple runs but they have got to prove to themselves they have what it takes to be more than mediocre……they have settled into un threatening roles in this league and if they want to be feared they have got to buck the trend!
Isaac and Bryan and Jacob have had flashes of greatness but it has since faded into darkness…….think one hit wonders like Chumbawamba, Vanilla Ice and NICKELBACK! Boys if you want to be great in this league you need more than one ring! You gotta fight! You gotta look deep within yourself and ask the tough questions! Do you want to go down in the history books as one of the greats or just another one hit wonder!?
Ahart and Katie have proven to have the competitive edge. (Despite Katie’s performance last year that will not be named). You are both right on the cusp! Just a half step behind the GOAT!
It’s time to lock in! It’s time to put the Instagram away and get into the game! Can’t wait for another season with you all! Today will be a great day and I look forward to seeing what everyone can do this year. Always remember in life and in competition “Adversity causes some men to break……and others to break records!” What side of history will you be on?? ITS GAME TIME!
SEATTLE, August 16th, 2025 / From the desk of Slamson Hanan, Commissioner – 2025 Season Draft Announcement
Hey All! We are getting close! The draft is only a couple of weeks away! A reminder the draft will be held August 30th at Grants house in Alderbrook! Grant is the world’s greatest host so it should be tons of fun as usual!
I do have a couple of announcements to make around the league this year. We have a couple changes that everyone needs to be aware of.
- Lauren will be leaving the league after a couple seasons to focus on motherhood, sis we love you and thank you for being part of the league!
- Similarly after 15 long hard fought seasons, my brother who has been here since the beginning Joshua Allen Goudge has finally decided to step away from the rigors of the greatest fantasy league in the land and partake is less grueling, less competitive, simpler and easier leagues. (Think Messi when he left the Euro leagues to join the MLS). Everyone please thank Josh for his time with us and wish him well (or not) as he moves on!
With change comes growth and we are welcoming two new participants into the battle field!
1) Mariana Roinas will be joining the fight as our 3rd female combatant to learn the game from her husband who is a back to back champion! We are excited to replace one beautiful sister with another beautiful sister!
2) The man, the myth, the legend Christopher “The wild Azaelea” Little has answered the bell to step up in weight class and take on the cream of the crop in fantasy! Chris comes with a strong resume of commissioning his own fantasy league which has been running for 7 years! (Not as impressive as 16 years but let’s let him dream…..one day he will get there!)
For those of you who don’t know him Chris lives in Boise near Jacob and will fit right in with our group, he is a great guy and will keep the competition flowing!
Looking forward to year 17! Can’t wait to hang with everyone!
